This week was a long one, an emotional one, and one that was totally redeemed with the weekend.
I am looking forward to next year’s Project Life already. 2013 has been a great year, until the past month or so, when things have started to be a bit stressful and hectic.
Looking forward to 2013. Maybe we can start again.

Still fun. Still easy.
I still really love this project even though I have sort of wrapped myself up in SMASHbooks lately. It’s just a different kind of thing for me. More organized (which I love) and simpler for me too.

I love Project Life. No lie.
It’s still so easy and fun looking at the week’s events in such a different way. A way that documents every little thing that has happened..
I’ve been using a lot of Instagram pictures, so most of my last 2-3 layouts have seemed to contain a lot of yellows and dusty filtered colors. That’s fine with me, but for next week, I am hoping to get away from that.

Oh, week 27 was busy. Family from all over came for the 4th so I have far more pictures than I can possibly put into this spread (or 10 inserts for that matter).
I tried to keep it simple, as usual, but I am also getting away from the “this week” card I was journaling on for a while in a 4×6 pocket. It took away from the picture aspect, I think. So I am doing more small 3×4 pockets for journaling. It keeps things a bit more balanced.

Next week, I’ll have an insert, I’m sure, since we’ll be heading to Table Rock Lake again with Grant and Shannon. Let’s hope for sunny days and good camera batteries.

This project still is fun, and for someone who gets bored easily with most things, that’s out of the ordinary for me. I still love taking pictures (that never gets boring) and pretty-ing them up. I still love the ease of documenting life in a creative way and capturing more than ever before. I don’t think there is anything that I will regret about it.
I am getting better at it too. I think about pictures I know I’ll want. I have been putting together inserts more often because I hate picking and choosing and leaving pictures out. I journal the little things I want to remember.
Week 22, here I come.

I had fun this week, even though it flew by again so fast. My head is still spinning.
I have been printing my pictures at home, which makes this project even more fun for me. I don’t have to wait on Walgreens (even an hour seems like a long time when you want them done now), and I can play with sizes, etc.
I have also been using more iPhone pictures. The convenience of having a decently good camera at my fingertips all the time has made the amount of picture I have double in size. Variety is hardly ever a bad thing, and I can always include them somewhere. This week I put in an insert with those extra random pictures from this week (and a few from last week) because they are just too much not to include.

It was a busy week. And tiring. And totally worth being tired.
I kept it simple for week 11. Pictures with little embellishments or journaling, besides the usual “this week” card. Not because I didn’t want to work on it, but I just didn’t have the time or energy.
I still think it turned out well. I like the simplicity and randomness of the pictures but still shows how chaotic the days seemed to be.
Onto week 12…

I’ve mentioned Project Life a few times here, but mostly on my Twitter. It’s a fun, easy little “Scrapbooky” way to keep track of everyday life. The pocket pages are just the right size for 4 x 6 pictures and 3 x 4 notes. I love it.
And it gives me a little bit of push to document the days. I don’t want to regret not documenting them someday.
I can’t promise that I will keep up with a blog for every week of the Project, but I do promise to try.
This week was a fun one because it was full of stuff. I managed to get a lot of pictures. Actually far more than any other week, but I wanted lots of pattern this week because it sort of shows the busy-ness.

Onto week 11!
